Weathersfield, Connecticut Queen Anne cherry highboy.

The original cove molded rectangular cornice above the upper case with a fan-carved center drawer flanked by two short drawers over four long graduated thumbmolded drawers.

The lower case with a long drawer over central fan-carved drawer flanked by a short drawer, above a shaped apron, raised on wonderful long cabriole legs with shaped returns on round pad feet.

Reference: 'The New Fine Points of American Furniture' by Albert Sack (page 189) A virtually identical highboy that is designated 'Masterpiece'.
