Louis XV gilt mounted Lacquer (Chinoiserie) and porcelain Encrier.

The black-ground surface painted with gilt and red on the surface of the ink standish.

This was to hold implements.

It is fitted with two cylindrical and one central globe-form, blue porcelain ink wells.

This antique encrier is raised on pierced foliate scroll feet.

The cylindrical inkwells have pierced rings and covers. 

This will look excellent on your desk.
