Superb Inlaid Liquor Chest

Superb inlaid mahogany Liquor chest with conch shell inlay on the top and front, quarter shell inlay in the corners of the top with swag inlay supporting the shell and rosettes on the front.

Fitted with seven large and four smaller hand blown “post constructed” (neck applied separately) bottles with all the original gilding and stoppers.   Also it retains the original gilded glass tray (cracked) and two spice flasks (like for bitters).

 

The box retains the original brass bale carrying handles.
