Superb Early English Rococo Mirror

No. R14626

Superb early English (or German) Rococo mirror with each etched divided mirror plate section held in with lead.

This is the earliest all-glass mirror I’ve had and in remarkable condition.

Remember all the Georges were German - George I couldn’t even speak English.  As in William & Mary, they brought Dutch taste to England in the late 17th century - George I brought German taste.
