Large Swedish Neoclassical carved and gilded pier mirror.
Beaded and carved cornice over a semicircular panel featuring two winged women holding a swag of flowers up to a neoclassical tourchere.
The modified fish scale frame holds two mirror plates and the base features more floral designs and two female masks in the corners.
This mirror is in quite superb condition, retaining the original gold leaf that has been rubbed (dusted) enough to show the overlap bands in the gold leaf.
