Large Italian Mid 18th Century Rococo Mirror

An imposing Italian mid 18th century Rococo carved silver leaf wood mirror.

The arched crest is comprised of “C scrolls” encrusted with flowers and shell edges with a flower & shell finial, centered with cabochons.
 

The marginal plates are topped with trailing foliate borders and are separated with leaf twigs.

All in the original sliver leaf with a wonderful worn patina.
